T-Shirt Obsessions

I am not sure where it all began, but to say I have a slight obsession with great t-shirts is an understatement. Honestly it is a little creepy at times and might make you think I am odd.  That’s ok really, just as long as you who are out there admit to your own costly obsession. Costly is what it is, but oh the feeling of a brand new fitted t-shirt that was made to feel like it was crafted for you and only you.(I did say creepy didn’t I). I have had to cut back on my purchases of t-shirts and today it in my never ending search for my impact on God’s creation there is one thing I can do and for that matter you can do as well. Are you ready? Just buy a T-shirt. It is that simple.  For the next few weeks I am going to highlight a shirt you can buy that will support a life changing cause.  My desire is to make my next 10 purchases count for something more than the mall.  Check out my first purchase after the break!

Robert Feuille has cancer and the short form of the story looks like this from his blog. (that’s his picture on this post)

“My name is Robert. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in February 2009. One week after the orchiectomy, I checked into the ER with extreme pain in my stomach. Debilitating pain. As it turns out, the cancer had metastasized into my lungs and liver, and the tumors in my liver had begun to bleed. ”

Rob, has been on the journey to fight this cancer and all that it has done to his body. I was introduced to his story by my wife who works with Rob’s brother-in-law.  It is a journey that has seen him come from Texas to Indy. It has seen him spend little time with his family, including missing out on the birth of his son. It is a journey that has shouted to men “wake up and get your self checked for testicular cancer!”  This emotional journey is not one he is on alone. His support comes from all over and most importantly high above.  Since reading his blog, watching his videos, and simply tweeting back and forth on twitter, I can say Rob is the real deal. Today I bought his shirt, which goes to pay for the enormous bills that come with cancer both medical and family. Below are links to his story.  Buy a shirt, and make an obsession an impact.
